Fox and Bear Behavioral Care was created with one core belief in mind: care is at the heart of healing. Every child—and every parent—deserves to feel supported, understood, and empowered as they navigate social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
I am a therapeutic counselor with over 13 years of experience supporting children and families, and the owner of Fox and Bear Behavioral Care for the past 6 years. My professional background began in early childhood education, where I taught for 6 years before continuing my training in the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This combined foundation allows me to understand both the developmental needs of children and young adults, and the practical realities families face every day.
After working in agency-based settings for many years, I recognized a significant gap in care—parents were not being given the tools, guidance, and support they needed to help their children thrive outside of sessions. Fox and Bear Behavioral Care was born from a desire to change that.
My work today is child-centered, relationship-based, and emotionally informed. I focus on helping children build social skills, emotional awareness, self-regulation, communication, and independence through play, connection, natural learning opportunities, and positive reinforcement. I prioritize least-invasive, respectful approaches that honor each child’s individuality, nervous system, and developmental pace.
Equally important, I view parents as essential partners in the therapeutic process. I specialize in parent coaching, offering ongoing collaboration, education, and real-life strategies that families can use at home and in the community. I provide consistent feedback, 1-on-1 progress meetings, and compassionate support to help parents feel confident, capable, and less alone in addressing day-to-day challenges.
At Fox and Bear Behavioral Care, my goal is not just behavior change—it is connection, understanding, confidence and lasting growth for both children and the families who love them.
